A retainer of 25% of total package is required to book and hold your wedding date. Dates will not be held without payment of a retainer. Retainer is non-refundable. 50% of the remaining balance is due 30 days before the wedding date or at the engagement session, whichever is first. This amount is refundable up to seven days before wedding date, minus any charges for engagement and consultation sessions. The remaining balance is due on or before your wedding date. Final payment must be recieved to begin shooting.
Area of Service & Travel Charges : For Once in a Lifetime package, there is no charge for travel within 100 mile radius from Dunwoody, Georgia or for travel between ceremony and reception of up to 25 miles. For wedding packages Special Day and higher there is no travel charges for weddings within a 60 mile range (120 mile roundtrip) of Dunwoody, Georgia. For Basic and Budget packages, there is no charge for weddings within a 30 mile radius of Dunwoody. For travel outside these ranges, travel from ceremony to reception, or for ala carte pricing, travel is computed at a rate of .89 per mile. Travel charges will be calculated and added to the package at the time of booking.
Prices do not include sales tax. Sales tax will be added to all purchases.
Photography Coverage : When planning the amount of photography coverage for the wedding, "Continuous Shooting" means from when the first photos are shot through the last image captured . Additional hours of coverage may be purchased with any package at the rate of $175 per hour. Six hours is generally enough time to capture everything, from the bride getting ready to the reception. But if events are more spread out than normal, you might want to consider purchasing additional time.
Rehearsals and Rehearsal Dinner: Rehearsals and/or rehearsal dinner can be booked along with any package starting at $500, plus any travel charges if applicable. This can be added when you book your wedding or at the initial consultation. Don't wait to save the date.
Shipping: Shipping is included in the price of books in packages to the continental United States. Shipping on prints and other products will be calculated at the time of ordering.
Prices are subject to change at any time. Any price or package change after you book your wedding will not affect your package.You are guaranteed all prices that are in effect at the time you book your wedding date.
All coupons in your package must be redeemed within six months of your wedding with the exception of the Once in a Lifetime package which last for one full year.
Photo CD If you choose to purchase the photo CD, it will include all processed images used for the event. All of the images provided to a client on CD may be reproduced, distributed, or printed by the client without restriction and without credit or additional payment to the photographer. The photographer may also use the images for promotional or advertising purposes. Photos on the CD are high resolution ( 300 dpi ) which is the most common resolution for commercial printing. Images will generally be sized for printing, either 4x6, 5x7 or 8x10.
Printing from your Photo CD: The JPG files on your photo CD are the exact same files used for your 4x6 wedding prints. There is no guarantee, however, that prints you make yourself or have printed from these files will look exactly like the prints that are provided to you in your wedding package. Color, clarity, brightness, overall quality, will vary depending on where the prints are made. These differences are due to inconsistencies in the way that different photo printers will interpret the color information in the JPG file. Low cost print houses (Walmart, Costco, Walgrens, etc) can often produce good quality prints but the color and overall quality will vary with each different printing machine and the way it is calibrated and maintained.
Online Wedding Gallery: All wedding packages include an online gallery of your wedding pictures so that you can easily share your wedding with friends and family worldwide. Web galleries are normally online within 2 weeks of your wedding. Guests will be provided with my card containing the link to the gallery. Following your wedding you will receive an email with a direct link to your wedding pictures. The images in your gallery will be optimized for web viewing and not for printing. Images in the web gallery are set so that they cannot downloaded. Individuals can purchase prints directly from the site. This is also where your discount or included images will be purchased.
Designing your Wedding Album: There are two ways to go about the design of your album (1) I creatively design the album myself or (2) you look through your gallery and send me a list of photos you want in the album. If you send a list, you can specify the order if you wish or I will design for the best look and flow. Either way, the costs of designing the album are included in the package price. If you want custom options such as border, backgrounds, text, etc., this needs to be discussed and priced seperately. Time to design custom layouts and designs will be in addition to the basic price.
Comment on the number of wedding prints : My style of photography is such that I take a large number of photos. I select the best to be processed. In most cases the gallery will contain more images than you will want. Best efforts will be made to take and include requested poses, shots, groups, etc. but there is no guarantee that all requests will be possible. A lot of this is contingent on when people show up, whether they are dressed and ready, how much time has been allowed for posed shots, etc. This is one of the reasons a consultation is so important. If there are absolute must have shots, I need to know this in advance so they can be planned for. As part of the consultation, a checklist of required and desired shots will be created.
As will be discussed in the consultation, it is highly suggested that someone close to the bride and groom that knows as many people as possible be supplied to the photographer. I can't be held responsible for proper grouping and shooting of family and friends that I don't know.
